Emphasizes that while drugs and medicines can be very helpful, they can also be dangerous, especially for children. Four age-appropriate vignettes illustrate drug basics: the dangers of non-prescription medications; why drugs should never be taken without a parent’s or doctor’s permission; and drugs that are addictive or illegal, with emphasis on tobacco and alcohol.
